Estimates suggest Shein wins 320m orders a year. Or 880,000 every day – roughly half Amazon’s 1.6m daily packages.

To minimise hazardous waste arising out of such insane demand and movement, regulatory authorities have to prioritise and come out with practically implementable steps – will they or won’t they? Time will tell.
