Chinese logistics is being impaired by a lack of standardisation of pallets and trucks. In a bid to improve efficiency and reduce costs, China should move to new standards, according to Chep Pallets. Chep is already working with a Chinese research institute and is running some 30 pilot programmes to develop a national standard, according to this China Daily article.
