Imperial Logistics International has appointed Sandro Knecht (pictured above, left) as chief commercial officer.
Mr Knecht joins from Ceva Logistics, where he spent seven years across various management positions, most recently as executive vice president of global supply chain solutions.
Prior to that he had a 17-year career with Panalpina, including holding the role of managing director of the UK and Ireland.
At Imperial, Mr Knecht will take on responsibility for leading and managing business development.
Chief executive Hakan Bicil (above, right), himself recently appointed, said he was delighted to welcome Mr Knecht to the team.
“Sandro’s impressive experience and track record in logistics and freight management equip him to play a major role in the future development of our business around the world.”
Mr Knecht said: “Imperial Logistics’ solutions offering is already impressive, backed by a strong operational platform that provides a solid foundation for future growth,” he said.
