FedEx is nearing a deal to acquire a stake in German peer Hermes, according to Handelsblatt.
The US group is reportedly looking for a strategic partner to grow its European parcel delivery presence.
Advent International is reportedly in the running to buy a holding in Hermes’ UK operations.
The company is part of the Otto Group.
