DB Schenker has appointed Ong Siew-Wei (pictured) as the new CEO and president of Schenker-Seino Co in Japan and CEO of DB Schenker’s north-east Asia cluster.
She was most recently CEO for DB Schenker in the Philippines, a role assumed by South-east Asia CEO Robert Reiter while a search is under way for her successor, the company said.
“Ms Siew-Wei is a very successful and highly regarded leader with an exceptional track record. She joined Schenker Singapore in 2005 and subsequently moved to the Asia Pacific regional office, leading a spectrum of vertical markets.
“In 2015, she took on the role of APAC chief commercial officer prior to her appointment as CEO Philippines,” added SB Schenker.
