Lufthansa Cargo has made some new year management shuffles.
Andre Schulz, head of Middle East, Africa, South Asia and CIS, has become head of Europe and takes over from Oliver von Götz, who became head of global fulfilment management last year.
Stephanie Pöhn-Helbig, head of crew control at Lufthansa Cargo, takes on Dr Schulz’s role as head of Middle East, Africa, South Asia and CIS from 1 March, based in Frankfurt. She joined Lufthansa in 2021 after other aviation-related roles.
Her appointment means another woman is joining a management team now more than 30% female.
“I am excited to further strengthen our global sales organisation with Stephanie Pöhn-Helbig and Andre Schulz,” said Anand Kulkarni, head of global markets at Lufthansa Cargo.
“Their understanding of various geographies, combined with their leadership experience will be a strong asset for Lufthansa Cargo and our customers in these dynamic markets. Their diverse backgrounds provide fresh and innovative perspectives and further enhance our focus on enabling global business.”
