It was a pretty cool headline released yesterday by one of the most oft-rumoured takeover target in logistics: “Hellmann achieves annual revenue of over €4 billion for the first time“.
Curiously, for the romance, its most successful financial period “in its 150-year history” comes one year ahead of the 150th anniversary of its much bigger domestic rival, DB Schenker – the two German 3PLs being historically united by the possibility of being targeted by the usual suspect, Denmark’s DSV.
