Bolt-on, out of the blue
Just a few days after Danish freight forwarder DSV promoted its M&A search in the US, France’s Geodis didn’t waste any time announcing the purchase of New Jersey-based Need It Now Delivers (NIND) for an undisclosed amount on Tuesday.
The deal is bolt-on but meaningful for a 3PL likely hitting €13bn in sales this year. For two reasons.
