The government of India has released a typically complicated press release, stating that the Civi Aviation ministry has set up an air cargo logistics board. “Air cargo policy to be reviewed on continuous basis” it states. Designed to come up with policy guidelines and performance standards, is this the start of a new era for air freight in India? Or simply another board, on which the 17 members will fail to agree?
