Imperial Logistics has appointed Holger Wilhelm to the newly created role of executive vice president of automotive.
Mr Wilhelm joins from Ceva Logistics, where he oversaw business development for the company’s automotive sector in North America.
In addition, he brings experience from other logistics companies across Europe, Asia and North America, with a particular specialism in automotive.
In his new role, he will report to Imperial’s chief commercial officer Sandro Knecht, and has been tasked with identifying opportunities to develop Imperial’s business in automotive.
“Holger has a long and impressive track record working with many of the world’s leading automotive clients,” Mr Knecht said. “His experience provides the ideal background for leading the expansion of Imperial Logistics’ multi-national automotive.”
