Hellmann Worldwide Logistics has appointed Alexandra Olvera (above) as its new chief commercial officer, effective 1 March.
Based at the company’s headquarters in Osnabrück, Ms Olvera will lead Hellmann’s global sales organisation as it continues to roll out its Forward2030 strategy.
The forwarder said her remit would include strengthening global sales integration, expanding strategic customer segments such as automotive and fashion, and further enhancing the overall customer experience.
CEO Jens Drewes said: “We are delighted to welcome Alexandra Olvera to the Hellmann family. Her global perspective, commercial expertise and strong commitment to customer relationships will be instrumental in shaping the next phase of our growth journey.”
Ms Olvera brings more than 20 years’ international commercial and leadership experience in the logistics and shipping sectors, having held senior roles across Europe and the Americas.
She joins from DHL Global Forwarding, where she was SVP and global head of business customers, responsible for a global commercial strategy. Prior to that, she served as chief commercial officer at Ceva Logistics. She has also held senior commercial positions at CMA CGM and spent nearly 17 years at Kuehne+Nagel in a range of leadership roles.
Ms Olvera said: “Hellmann has a strong heritage, a clear long-term strategy with Forward2030, and a highly customer-focused culture. I am excited to join the team and to work with colleagues around the world to further strengthen our global sales organisation, deepen our strategic customer partnerships and drive sustainable, profitable growth.”
