Gino Niella joins business development team at FCS Oceans

FSC Oceans has appointed Gino Niella to the new role of operations assistant, supporting the business development team.

Mr Niella joins the London-headquartered freight forwarder having garnered experience with both Kuehne + Nagel and UPS in Paraguay.

“I’m thrilled to have been offered a position at FSC Oceans and very eager to learn from the rest of the team who all have so much knowledge and experience to share with me,” said Mr Niella.

Commercial director Alan Hewitt said: “What stood out about Gino was his tenacity – he picked the phone up as soon as he’d seen the job spec and asked to come in and see us in person. Once we met him we saw talent and potential immediately. He speaks Spanish and Portuguese as well as English, which complements our already diverse cultural mix as a team.”

Mr Niella’s appointment bolsters the size of the team to seven, and Mr Hewitt believes the company remains on course for its £10m turnover milestone in the next few years.
