Daniel Nordberg has been appointed as GAC group VP for the Asia Pacific & Indian subcontinent region. He will succeed Lars Bergstrom who has retired after 26 years with the group.
Mr Nordberg joined GAC in 2001 and has served in a variety of roles in the organisation’s shipping, logistics and marine services. He had been general manager of GAC Qatar since 2016.
GAC Group president Bengt Ekstrand said: “Our strategy of management rotation broadens competence and outlook to ensure the best leadership and service to our customers worldwide. At a time when we are all looking with cautious optimism towards a post-pandemic world, Daniel’s expertise and experience will provide the driving force for new success in the Asia Pacific & Indian Subcontinent.”
