Finnair is to discontinue its freighter partnership from Helsinki to Brussels with DHL, Air Cargo News reports. The move follows the Finnish flag-carrier introducing its widebody A330 passenger aircraft twice-weekly on the route. The partnership is set to dissolve at the end of next month. But the carrier says this will be good news for its cargo customers – it suggests ditching DHL in favour of its own widebodies could cut as much as 24 hours off shipment journeys.
