Ceva Logistics has seen a change of personnel following the resignation of Antonio Fondevilla, executive vice president global automotive.

He has been succeeded by Dave Dudek, pictured, who has been promoted from senior vice president strategic initiatives and global programme management.

Mr Fondevilla has joined Grupo Sesé as chief commercial officer after more than a decade at Ceva.

“I have known Antonio for nearly 20 years,” said Alfonso Sesé, president of Grupo Sesé. “His enthusiasm, drive, and energy as well as his proven excellence in building customer relationships will help us consolidate our position, increase our footprint and achieve the objectives that will give us the global presence that we are aiming for.”

Mr Dudek has also been with Ceva for more than a decade, after two years at General Motors as director intercontinental logistics. Ceva said Mr Dudek has excellent working relationships with its core customers and will be focused on further developing the company’s automotive reach.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank Antonio for his dedication and outstanding contribution to Ceva over the years and wish him all the best for future.  In Dave, we have a worthy successor and his extensive knowledge of the worldwide automotive sector has already ensured a seamless transition for our customers in all locations,” said Laurent Binetti, Ceva Logistics’ chief commercial officer.
