Crane Worldwide Logistics has poached Jas Forwarding veteran John O’Connor to be its executive vice president, strategy development.
Mr O’Connor spent some 15 years at Jas, in the same role. Prior to that, he was at DHL/Exel, and also had a stint at Airborne Express in a near-30-year career.
He said: “Many lessons have been learned from the Covid-19 pandemic and it is an exciting time to be joining a robust, agile and flexible organisation that is passionate about solving logistics challenges in a dynamic environment.”
CEO Keith Winters added: “Adding John’s vast experience to the executive team will help our clients, and our organisation, address the ongoing supply challenges not only in today’s market but, importantly, in the future as the ‘new normal’ unfolds.”
