Unlike some rivals, Swiss forwarder Kuehne + Nagel (K+N) has navigated the Covid-19 crisis largely without shedding staff, much to the disappointment of analysts.
Like all quarterly conference calls, K+N’s Q1 ’20 hookup in late April went on a bit, with a strong focus on cost cutting, or, in the view of some dialling in, the lack thereof.

May 13, 2020 at 8:20 pmI worked for 10 years at KN. I left some years ago. They have changed considerably and it is not “my KN” anymore. BUT: They do the right things and they do the things right! Just firing people is not innovative, it is not sustainable and yes, sorry for being “social”, it is totally illoyal. Loyalty is not a one-way street! KN, CHAPEAU
