Shining star
Ceva Logistics has appointed Claus Svane Schmidt as head of its less-than-containerload (LCL) division.
Mr Schmidt previously served as managing director for Ceva in North Asia, having joined the company at the start of last year. Prior to that he had worked for several leading companies in logistics in Dubai, Hong Kong, Scandinavia, and Sydney.
Mr Schmidt said: “This is an exciting new challenge with tremendous potential for growing what is already a very strong service offering. There is untapped potential especially utilising our worldwide capabilities in e-commerce and our own operations where new lanes can be brought onstream.”
