Almost a month into the Red Sea trouble now, the past 24 hours have been quite eventful in container shipping from a capital markets perspective.

True story: nothing happened 

Yet, it matters. In less than a couple of hours, the “good news” for the trade (bad news, if true, for box lines’ profits)…

… turned out to be… well, as DeskOne also highlighted after initial coverage:
