Aramex has appointed Nicolas Sibuet as its chief financial officer. He joins from Abu Dhabi Airports, where he had been CFO and acting SVP strategy, marketing and communications for two years.
Prior to that he was a drilling industry expert for Boston Consulting Group.
Mr Sibuet brings more than 26 years’ experience across the shipping, oil and gas, and aviation industries.
Othman Aljeda, CEO of Aramex, said: “I am pleased to welcome Nicolas. He is a seasoned executive with a proven track record of leading companies towards transformational growth and has deep knowledge in various industry trends.
“His extensive experience will play a key role in the execution of our strategic priorities and will enable us to further optimise our recently redesigned operating model, as we seek to grow our global market share. The management team and I are looking forward to working closely with Nicolas to enable the company achieve sustainable growth for our key stakeholder groups.”
Mr Sibuet’s appointment means Aramex now has a 21-strong management team – just one of whom is a woman, a low percentage, even for logistics.
