UPS workers have rejected the latest labour contracts issued by the company as it looks to shore up a collective bargaining agreement. The Teamsters, which represents some 10,000 employees, rejected the move on the grounds that its members “deserve better”. DC Velocity reports that president of the Teamsters’ Local 89s Fred Zuckerman has gone on record saying the proposed CBA was, “at best”, not good. However, Mr Zuckerman’s views are not in keeping with those of many Teamsters members who had largely approved the new deal.
