Seko Logistics has appointed Kevin Krause as its vice president of ocean services.
Mr Krause joins from CH Robinson, where he spent two years as ocean service line manager.
In a more than 20-year career, Mr Krause has worked for Hapag-Lloyd – where he began his career –Hamburg Sud and UPS. Prior to joining CH Robinson in 2014, he was a partner in the K2 Maritime Group.
Rick Lee, Seko Logistics’ chief operating officer said Mr Krause, who will be based in the firm’s Chicago office, will focus on procurement, product development and sales.
“Kevin has over 20 years of experience in Ocean Services, including pricing, rate negotiation, contract administration, carrier management, and business development,” added Mr Lee.
In addition to his standard duties, Mr Krause will also serve as Seko’s Qualifying Individual holding the company’s Federal Maritime Commission license.
