Luxembourg, 19 March 2015 – Looking back on 10 years of air cargo services with healthcare shipments between Luxembourg and Indianapolis in cooperation with DB Schenker, the world’s second largest transportation and logistics services provider, Cargolux operated its first full charter flight carrying a critical and valuable cargo of pharmaceuticals to the United States in March. The flight represents the first full 747 load of pharma products that the Luxembourg airline carries on this route.
Cargolux and DB Schenker started the first Indianapolis service in 2005 with a weekly flight and added a second weekly flight the year after. Ten years later, Cargolux serves 15 destinations with healthcare flights for DB Schenker.
