SNCF has its say on Premium’s Geodis coverage

Thomas Kraus has been appointed head of group marketing at Geodis. The 48-year-old former chief executive of TNT Express in Germany has been put in charge of “developing a cohesive and differentiating marketing strategy for Geodis, incorporating the full range of the Group’s know-how”, according to the company.
Mr Kraus has held various positions within TNT, including marketing director in 1990, customer service director in 1992, managing director of sales, marketing and customer service in 2006 and chief executive of TNT Innight in the same year.
“We are delighted to welcome Thomas Kraus,” said Geodis chief executive Marie-Christine Lombard. “I count on Thomas’ proven track record, his broad expertise in the transport and logistics sector and his understanding of international markets enhance a marketing strategy and marketing mix that is differentiating and that allows us to be the growth partner for our clients.”
