June 18, 2021 at 6:33 amSeaforth docks is one of the worst in the country, as a driver that goes on this dock day and day out i can say that this dock doesn’t make any sense whatsoever and i think all this shit started since Peel Ports wanted to put the crane drivers on contracts with more hours to pay less overtime, drivers refused to comply and peel ports made redundant 16 drivers. Peel Ports try to cut costs and make more money and the hauliers, shipping lines and custumers are loosing money every day. Something has to be done and has to be done fast. I think the big companies like Goldstar, JMD,Maritime etc should stand togheter are refuse to use this dock untill they sort it out, shipping lines need to take a stand aswell. becouse as a driver can’t say anything to anybody, if you do say or do something it’s dead easy for them to ban you out of the dock.
