Whack, whack whack: it's my winter almanac
Goodbye 2022 … uh oh, here comes 2023
“As they say in the A-Team, “We love it when a plan comes together”, and that is exactly what happened with AMI’s LAX – SYD chartered flight on Sunday 5th April. After a great level of demand, AMI’s charter flight was full with over 28 tonnes of cargo on board, Tibor Fodelmesi (pictured on the right) the VP of Americas was on the tarmac at LAX to wave the United Boeing 787 aircraft off as it took off exactly as scheduled for Sydney International.
As it touched down on Australian soil, Mike Pattinson the VP of Sales and Business Development (APAC) was there to give a warm welcome to crew and cargo, while also overseeing the cargo handling to ensure the precious cargo could then be distributed out as required and precisely on time, keeping the cargo flowing in these most difficult of circumstances.
Jonathan Clark CEO of AMI commented “What a team effort from everyone involved in these most trying of times, from my own team in AMI to United Airlines, everyone brought their A game for this charter and I could not be more proud of what we all as a team have achieved. In particular, I would like to mention Tibor and his team at LAX who worked tirelessly to make sure the flight was full.”
