Unbelievable. Just as dockworkers and employers on the US east and Gulf coasts reach a tentative agreement on a new master contract, comes news from the west coast that clerical workers in Los Angeles and Long Beach have failed to ratify an agreement reached late last year, which followed an eight-day strike at the two ports. Could another round of industrial action be on the cards?
