Kuehne + Nagel has expanded its overland capabilities with the acquisition of Austrian SME Jöbstl.
K+N said the move would benefit customers seeking capacity into Eastern Europe and groupage services.
“By adding Jöbstl’s portfolio, we are able to offer more services to customers in the region, as well as further develop our overland network strategically,” said senior vice president for overland Europe Uwe Hott.
“Transport operations, particularly connections to neighbouring countries will be further strengthened, while increasing frequency of departures and shortening lead-times.”
