US hauliers consider conversion to natural gas

The hard-pressed road haulage industry never looked as if it would be at the forefront of environmental innovation. But one of the US’s richest men is on a mission to convert the trucking business from diesel to LNG or CNG – and it’s working. Some scepticism remains, however, concerning refuelling times, infrastructure and upfront asset cost.
