President Trump has suspended trade talks with Canada after Ontario governor Doug Ford posted a video on social media that appears to have infuriated the US commanded in chief. Confirming the news, secretary of state Marco Rubio said the Canadian politician had taken words of former US president Ronald Reagan out of context to undermine the validity of Mr Trump’s tariff policy.
