NY state governor accused of self-serving bid to quash port corruption probe

Nothing stinks like corruption, and here’s the beginnings of a right old rotten egg, if ever we’ve smelled one. New York state governor David Paterson stands accused of quashing an anti-corruption investigation into the Port Authority of New York in return for securing a board of directors’ seat on the same organisation for his father.
