Crowley Logistics has announced the appointment of industry veterans John Abisch and Bob Goldenberg as vice president of global supply chain solutions and vice president of global business development.
Mr Abisch spent three decades with Econocaribe Consolidators, serving in accounting, operations and sales before being appointed president at the turn of the century. He also served as president of the Florida Customs Brokers & Forwarders Association.
Mr Goldenberg also spent more than 30 years at Econocaribe, starting out in the traffic department, later joining the operations and sales teams, becoming chief operating officer for exports and finally chief procurement officer, following the ECU Worldwide acquisition.
Senior vice president of commercial sales at Crowley Frank Larkin said: “The addition of Messrs Abisch and Goldenberg provide Crowley the opportunity to offer a wide variety of global supply chain solutions to our customers. Their experience will have an immediate impact on the velocity with which our customers move their goods to market around the world.”
