Shippers are becoming increasingly concerned about emissions, even though transportation accounts for just 4% of the global supply chain. This interesting – although long – article talks about the ethics and environmental complexities of sourcing, (near-sourcing isn’t always best) as well as how transport companies can cut emissions and provide a more carbon-efficient service to their customers.
