If you are involved in the UK freight industry, it may be time to think about carbon dioxide output. The Committee on Climate Change is in the process of considering whether to exclude aviation and shipping from the government’s forthcoming carbon budget – a legally binding programme set every five years to lower UK output. There are, of course, arguments for both sides.
