Delta’s decision to buy an oil refinery in a bid to cut fuel costs has attracted much interest from a cash-strapped, fuel-heavy logistics industry. The airline hopes the refinery will be up and running by the end of this month, but is trying to source cheaper crude oil to feed its habit.
