Air freight consultancy Strategic Aviation Solutions International (SASI) has set up a fully owned subsidiary in the US, to be led by three senior executives.
SASI USA will be staffed by Charles Edwards, who co-developed SASI’s Air Cargo Professional Development Workshop programme for TIACA; Mark Diamond, a veteran air cargo consultant; and Jack Keery, former executive at a number of cargo airlines, as well as president of the GHA Cargo Service Center in the Americas.
SASI said: “The air transport industry is going through its worst crisis in history and passenger revenue has all but evaporated, but air cargo remains an island of stability and a critically important source of revenue for airlines, airports, and other industry stakeholders.
“SASI launched its US subsidiary to ensure that it has a firm foothold in the United States air transport market and can respond quickly to US client needs. SASI USA has access to the full scope of SASI’s global consulting capabilities and staff expertise.”
SASI, headquartered in Hong Kong and Montreal, also has key team members in Boston, Raleigh-Durham, Florida, Moscow and Dubai.
