Container shipping veteran Brian Bitsch (above) has assumed the role of chief commercial officer for APM Terminals Nordics.
Mr Bitsch has 20 years of experience in global roles within AP Møller-Maersk and MSC and, for the past decade has been a commercial manager at APM Terminals facilities in Africa and Eastern Europe.
He will now be responsible for developing and managing APMT’s Nordic markets.
“It is with great pleasure that we welcome Brian as the new CCO of APM Terminals Nordics,” said Dennis Lenthe Olesen, CEO of APMT Nordic. “I am convinced he will contribute great customer focus and a strong sense of continuous improvement and effective problem solving, something that is required to succeed in a challenging and ever-changing world,” .
Mr Bitsch said: “I am really looking forward to familiarising myself with the Nordic business dynamics and gaining a deep understanding of our customers’ daily operations.
“To achieve an even better customer experience, I believe in close cooperation and good dialogue between our customers and colleagues within APM Terminals, as well as with relevant stakeholders,” he added.
