Upping the ante with evergreen M&A speculation, first off today are strong rumours from senior sources that one of the top 20 global logistics services providers by air/ocean sales is willingly looking to divest its freight forwarding operations to release value for shareholders.
(As market talk builds beyond any reasonably speculative threshold, it could be a subtle way to let everybody know, informally, that if a 100% takeover of the undisclosed group is engineered, it’ll be very, very pricey.)
