Amazon is continuing to dominate everything, including sidewalks (or pavements depending on your location) with the launch of its new delivery robot, Scout. Wired reports that the box on six wheels is being field tested in Snohomish County (Washington State) for same-day, one-day and two-day deliveries. The e-commerce giant said the deliveries would be limited to daylight hours and be chaperoned by a human, “there to make sure the bot can safely and efficiently navigate around pets, pedestrians and anything else in their path”.
