Look closely, the frost could be thawing. The South China Morning Post reports that a deal between the US and the China may be in sight. However, it apparently hinges on China’s willingness to agree to regular checks on reforms and shorter timelines for rectifying trade imbalances. The news comes in advance of talks between Washington negotiators and Chinese vice premier Liu He in the US capital next week.
