A report from the East Anglian Times says that the UK’s biggest container port at Felixstowe is planning to deepen the water alongside berths 6 & 7 at Trinity Terminal as well as raising the height of 10 ship-to-shore gantry cranes.
It follows the completion of the extension on berths 8 & 9 last year enabling the handling of two 18,000 plus teu ultra-large container vessels simultaneously.
