It’s a holiday weekend – and the thieves have got an eye on your cargo, apparently. According to FreightWatch International, past Memorial Day weekends (as this weekend is called in the US), have seen theft levels rise up to 40% – last year saw a record high of 15 incidents, averaging more than $600,000 in value.
