Lots of freighter news and conversions at the moment. Yesterday, China Postal Airlines ordered 10 737-800NGFs, as well as an option for seven 757-200 passenger aircraft which would be converted to freighters. Boeing’s first 737 BCF aircraft will be converted from 737-800s, and will be followed by an order from YTO Airlines for 15 of the same aircraft. Kalitta Air, meanwhile has bought two 767-300ERs to convert into freighters, apparently for a DHL operation. The carrier has previously only operated 747s. It acquired a third 757 as well, for spare parts.
