Both ends of the spectrum: Amazon pushing drones… and bicycles?

Amazon is threatening the FAA that it will move its testing of drones overseas if the laws governing them are not relaxed. This interesting article notes that unless Amazon’s position gets support from a politician concerned about job losses, the FAA is unlikely to react to this pressure. But it is not just new technologies the company is testing – in Manhattan, it is conducting bike trials for one-hour deliveries. The quickest and safest service will win the contract.
