Amazon, the sixth-largest containerized importer into the United States, is being sued by consumers who say it raised prices to cover tariffs the Supreme Court later struck down, and then chose not to seek refunds it was legally entitled to collect.

The class action, Markland v. Amazon.com, was filed on 15 May in the Western District of Washington by Hagens Berman Sobol Shapiro, a firm with deep experience in large-scale consumer litigation.
