Röhlig Logistics has appointed Niels Rudolph (above) as its new director of global contract logistics, responsible for its global warehouse capacity.
Mr Rudolph holds a degree in business administration and has served in various leading contract logistics roles in Germany, South Africa, South-east Asia and the US. Most recently, he worked as regional logistics manager for southern and central Germany at pfenning logistics.
Hylton Gray, CEO Sea Freight, Air Freight, Contract Logistics & Sales, said: “We are delighted to have gained Niels Rudolph, with his great expertise and international experience in the contract logistics field, for the key role of global contract logistics director. With his help, we will further strengthen and scale our contract logistics operations worldwide.”
Mr Rudolph said: “Our focus will be on establishing operational standards, implementing software solutions, extending centralised and decentralised competences as well as expanding our international contract logistics footprint in close collaboration with colleagues across the globe.”
