January 11, 2022 at 4:53 pmIts the same issue on the East Coast, Hapag Llyod had restricted All Size (20,40GP,40HC) Empty Returns between 12/21/21 until 12/29/21, that’s about a week.
When they finally started to receive empty at Global Terminals (12/29) there were NO appointment available.
Why are they forcing trucker to return Empties to just one terminal ? Empties should be accepted at the terminal of discharge (import) or another terminal/depot with space.
It takes drivers 2 – 4 Hours to Drop an Empty in Global Terminals (L) Lines on a single move.
