Earlier this year, he was appointed global head of sea freight.

Sea freight forwarding veteran Daryl Ridgway (pictured below) has been appointed to replace Mr Gallen as global head of sea freight.
Mr Ridgway has over 30 years’ experience in logistics, specialising in ocean freight and supply chain. His most recent role was as global head of ocean freight for Panalpina, where he spent five years, and which followed 12 years at Kuehne and Nagel.
“His main goal will be to capture the synergies of the global procurement within the group as well as to develop the global sea freight product of Noatum,” the company said.
