Maersk delivered a strong result across its shipping, logistics, services and terminals portfolio in the third quarter, despite a decline in top-line revenue.

Turnover was down by just under 1% on the same quarter of last year, to $10.1bn, but ebitda increased 14% to $1.7bn, and net profit climbed to $520m, against an impairment impacted loss of $219m the year before.
