This is an interesting article – interviewing Pakistan’s only woman truck driver as well as female truckers in the UK and US. Not only do they enjoy the job, but their employers say they are good at it – women are organised with the paperwork, take fewer risks and are less likely to be in a high-speed collision. With such a shortage of drivers, it’s time to open the field.
